Designed by the Engineer, Jos\u00e9 Eugenio Ribera in 1897, its appearance is characterized by the lightness and slenderness of its shapes and it perfectly integrates \u00a0into the grandiose Arribes del Duero landscape.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In the one hundred years since it came into service, the bridge structure \u00a0has overall remained in an acceptable condition. However, major deterioration in localised areas of the main deck beams had been detected, calling for urgent repair which, as of today, has been concluded. Su luz, de 120 metros, fue en su momento la mayor de Espa\u00f1a. Su aspecto est\u00e1 caracterizado por la ligereza y esbeltez de sus formas, quedando perfectamente integrado dentro de la grandeza paisaj\u00edstica de los Arribes del Duero.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">En los cien a\u00f1os transcurridos desde su puesta en servicio, la estructura del puente se ha mantenido en un aceptable estado, en su conjunto. Sin embargo, \u00faltimamente se hab\u00eda detectado un importante deterioro en zonas localizadas de las vigas principales del tablero que precisaban una urgente reparaci\u00f3n, que\u00a0 se ha llevado a efecto.
